西紋別地区広域ごみ処理センター視察
昨日は北海道若手市議会議員の会の研修で、紋別市にある「西紋別地区広域ごみ処理センター」にて視察研修を行いました。
まさに恵庭市でも最大の懸案となっているごみ処理ですが、紋別では広域の計画に基づいて、２年前に供用を開始しています。
最近稼働し始めた施設ということもありますが、恵庭市の計画と比べて小規模でありながら、トンあたりの建設費は抑えられており、長期包括的運転委託による運転管理や、最終処分に関しても屋根付きの施設で水処理のコストを抑えるなど、参考になる話が多くありました。
今議会での議論にも活かしていきたいと思います。
